FFX and X-2 are currently being remastered Shaz and will be playable on the vita and ps3 and possible the ps4. Who knows about the ps1 FFs though.

Awesome. I'd still prefer 7 & 8 to be remastered first though. IMO, best storyline out of all the FFs.

The PS2 games only need to be remastered in HD, the PS1 games need to be rebuilt from scratch which is epic, Square-Enix honestly need to consider this to get their reputation back, they are failing big time.

Did you ever see the HD remake of the starting train scene from FF7? It was pretty much just a shit stir at what they were capable of/what it would look like in HD/teasing the fanboys.

Were you ever into Kingdom Hearts as well?

10 was my favourite followed by 8 then 7. I have 1-4 on PSP, 5-9 on disc and on my PS3 from the PS store, 10, 10-2 & 12 on PS2 and 13 & 13-2 on PS3. There's still 14, 15 and 13-3 to come by Feb 2014.

Yeah I'm a FF/RPG nut. What other genres give you over 100 hours of gameplay each time you start/restart for the money you pay. The CoD games can be finished under 7 hours on veteran difficulty (multiplayer aside) which isn't great value.

Is this still on-topic? Is there a dedicated gaming thread?

Yup, mastered 7/8/9/10. I think 120hours for 8 was the quickest. All final weapons (Lionheart, etc) before the end of disc 1. Ragnarok by disc 2. 

 

10 was good for the Blitzball. That was an awesome game. 8 was awesome with Triple Triad, and the Materia engine in FF7 was one of the best power ups of the whole series. 

 

Even given the shithouse graphics, I still have replayed 7 and 8 numerous times. Amazing storylines.

 

The only other game that has come close to the series is Skyrim, which I think I've clocked a good 160 hours on so far.

I'd pay for a dedicated Blitzball PS3 game or all of the popular mini-games on one disc/download.

The FF9 card game missed the mark, so much that I forget what it was called.
