Sub'd :)

Great read mate; a good story told very well.

Lots of pictures and information.

Yep those strut top hats look mint! Well done.

RE front strut brace, I noticed the sharper handling on turn in very noticeably but that was when I had oem KYB struts/springs. After my Billies went in I barely noticed it. It still changes the handling in a positive way though.

Imo I'd go coilovers and then RSB.

I see what you mean about the leftover honeycomb in the grill but it's so small it's negligible imo.

Pics at a slight distance please :)

Keep up the good work/writeup.

Thanks mate...got a few more things in the pipeline for it. Yeah I have been looking at the grill a bit today whilst on breaks at work. I think i like it. I will get you some more pics soon....

I have some pedders springs to suit bugeye you can have cheap :)

This sounds awesome...ill text ya

Grill looks sooo good!

I'm thinking of doing this to my rev d-e but I'm concerned about the amount of air the aftermarket mesh will allow in..

Are those Pedders springs on oem struts?

You'll benefit nicely from those suspension/handling upgrades :)

Cheers man, what's the reason to be concerned about the amount of air? Too little air?
Yes they are Pedders springs on oem struts :)
Yeah it will be good...I'm so keen

Yes.....a roll is roll and a toll is a toll....and if we don't get know tolls then we don't eat no rolls. Ha love that movie. Anyway, I think there would still be plenty of air getting through :)

I can't remember exactly what I did as this was done about 2 years ago....but from memory, we removed the amber light piece as replaced it with an orange indicator bulb. Morgs, can you remember what we did?

Yeah pretty sure we did remove the Orange cover and I had some spare Amber bulbs lying around so just whacked them in.

Ok, so a little update. I wasn't meant to install the Pedder springs and WRX struts for like a month. But considering it was the long weekend. I had some free time and James was around to give me a hand so we decided to install them. Morgs was able to lend me some gear to get it done which was a big help. Cheers man.

Anyway so for a few hours in the afternoon on Saturday we installed the springs and struts. Anyway here are a few pictures.

I'll take some after shots from the side so you guys can see how much lower it sits now. I have taken it for a few drives since. I like it heaps more than the stock springs.

You tease us with all those pics only to fall short of posting a photo with them installed and off jacks with wheels on?
BAH!!!

Well done, now you get to drive a full month on lowered springs and enjoy reduced body roll. ;)

Ok, so I never got around to ever putting a picture up of the car on the new springs and struts. Took one this afternoon. Nothing special-but something to show you guys its ride height now. Spent a little time on the car today, will upload some more pics tonight when I get home. But here are some quick ones from my phone to show you. Also had some new Potenza RE003 fitted all round. I must say, they are good.

Ok, so today-whilst James was spraying his car- I took the opportunity to respray a few little things such as wiper arms etc.I didn't have much time as I needed to get going to a birthday party for a friends child. Anyway here are some photos of what was accomplished.

Filthy!!

Much better-not perfect but considering time constraints- it is much better. Painted wiper blade arms and plastic surround! Came up good in my opinion.

So I picked this hi-tech muffler up today off Matt. Thanks for this mate, I really appreciate it. Was good to see his car in the flesh. What a beast. Anyway, Got it home and went to throw it on but the flange is just a fraction too big so on Monday I'll take it down and get a new flange thrown on it. However, looking forward to having it on the car though. Picture is courtesy of Matt.
