In getting the car ready for sale I've thrown a set of wrx wheels on it and raised it about 5mm's all round.
Wow. Different car.
I actually like it though.

I like it too! If you're still selling it, I assure you it'll definitely be bought with these on it. There's just something about factory rims that I like... It's probably the main reason I'm constantly chasing STi rims.
I know that if I was looking for a car, I'd go for one that looks stock. When buying cars in the past for myself, I always saved searches on stock over modified, even if it had an exhaust I'd tend to steer clear. I guess that just comes down to the type of car I was looking for (VL Commodore) but you get my gist.

I don't think many people wanting stock gt's will be searching for ones with 6 speeds in them gaz

Ha ha, I know man. I'm not making any judgements or criticisms of course. Merely just a comment on the rims which you changed over in order to help sell it.
Unless I've missed something...

I've thrown them on to persuade my missus into driving it/make the car more affordable for the next owner.
And I thought it would be cool to drive something a little less "look at me cubts" for a while.
May even throw the old wheels on my next car depending on what it is

I still haven't decided whether to just restyle mine or to get customised ones that fit the right format so I don't pay extra...

My plates took 2 weeks to be restyled, you can call them though and they'll give you an update of where they're at.

IIRC even plates in the right format require an annual fee now. Only time you don't need one is to leave the format as is and just get them restyled.

I'm talking about the extra $440 for a custom plate as opposed to the $99 or something you have to pay to get different ones. Restyling current number plates attract no additional fee per year, just the order fee.
