I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

Why is there a spoiler on the front?

Yes. But I've never seen one on the front. Not even pikes peak and such. They normally don't have a big fork off wing on the front.

Pikes peak cars certainly do!( or I should say have done) F1 cars do also. It's just downforce, so you've got more weight on the front pushing down giving better grip at the front. Particularly when powering out of corners

Sig worthy.

Still wouldn't that spoiler in the pic obstruct the driver's view?

Could do I 'spose Jase. I guess that way you don't have to fork around with wiring in a modern engine, to an old school car.

Sig worthy.

Sackery : I guess it depends on the drivers position in the car.m he might well be looking out underneath that wing.

Creating downforce ( which is essentially lift flipped) creates a butt load of drag though. Which is why F1 cars now have DRS.

Sig worthy.

That's awesome, Brett. Even if it isn't mint, it would still be worth $20-30k more than a non-splitty!

If you can get it for a bargain, do it!

Like I said it was only something spoken about in passing. I was intrigued to know what would be involved in dropping in an EJ. I don't even know how much they'd let it to for. Sounds like it could be worth a bit, even with a tired donk.
I have zero money to spend on such things at the moment.

Sig worthy.

The way I see it, Brett. Is you committed to purchasing it the minute you brought it up in GT!!

And while you're at it, buy my mini and moke. RICH GUY!

(In all serious it would be an epic but expensive project)
