So i just got a quote from Tintacar (not sure how good they are.)

35% Octane - $390.
38% Midnight Express - $320.
(2009 Forester)

Is the extra 3% really worth $70? And is that price average or rip off'ish?

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Had mine done not long ago at master tint, $300 to remove old tint and replace with 3M 15%. I wouldn't have it any other way, it looks great, stops the glare and you can still see out the window at night.

Seems steep to me? From memory (correct me if im getting my figures mixed up) but did Shiv pay $260 to have his old stuff removed and 22% put on?

or are you doing all this yourself?


A dude at work Tints all the new cars (I work at a car dealership), so when he's slow he does the pleb workers cars on the cheap.

I'd recommend GroundZero Tinting out in Blacktown, give him a call to get an idea on pricing.. I don't know what he charges, but I've heard many good things from different people around me.. Even a number of people on Rexnet give him praise too :)

Hi,

He is in Spearwood, WA, that might be a far reach for him.

I recommend getting flames cut into the tint with silver reflective so that you look cool while driving.

tint looks good, although the forester seems to be lacking a turbo still :P
