hey guys im in need of a new clutch, seems to be alot of people that say a hd clutch isnt necessary and iv also heard they break gearbox's ? i have a 98 wrx wagon, nothing special just and exhaust and intercooler running 14 psi. pre close to standard. just want a clutch that is gunna last me a good while and wont blow the budget, even if im driving it hard every now and then especially if i decide to make it a bit quicker later on.

can get an exedy hd kit for around 600 bucks is it worth getting or are they not much better than an oem replacement. cheers.

Exedy Pro-Kit and be done with it.

A little bit stronger than OEM but not strong enough to break a gearbox with big power.

Good clutches!

Is this pro-kit a good buy for an EJ25 N/A?
I want to do more track days, so want something that can take a punch to the face every now and then.
I really only need a new thrust bearing but seeing as shits coming out, might as well go the full caboodle.
