Hahaha, I see your point.

Remember I have two kids so 10 or so hours of complete and utter silence is to be savoured! :P

Last time I had that was driving back from Canberra after picking up the RB, and that was over two yeas ago!

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

More screwing around today...

Fitted the rear bar up properly...was only held on by two bolts and cable ties, so i got all the missing bits at the wreckers and put it on properly. Looks tonnes neater now :)

Got all the roof trims back on and stuck the front and rear window trims back on...almost looks complete!!

Found a missing clip i lost for the front door handle at the wreckers and fitted all the handles back up, and since i had no plastic splash guard behind the door trims ive used quality contact which is awesome, and i have heaps spare if it ever needs to come off for repairs

On that note the drivers side trims are finally installed! RA spec manual window versions custom covered by a good mate on the cheap. The black isnt spot on with the dash. But i dont really care as it looks great otherwise!

Also grabbed a crap load of clips, bolts and plugs that are missing to complete the car whilst at the wreckers (local wreckers has supplied the majority of small trim and body bits on the car..and for a great price aswell!

Well only a few things off the list today

A few more tomorrow, then she will wait patiently for the new muffler and tintz next week

Anyways thanks for listening!!

Bring on HVC!!

So...small update

20% tints are done...looks amazing with such a dark car!!!

Alignment is sorted..though needs some extra sorting later...and will get some camber bolts to compliment the lower arms and help keep the track even on both sides...raised it up about 7 turns on the coilovers to get just 100m at the lowest point which is the resonator..may go higher a few turns still..will see how we go

hadnt yet bedded the pads that came with the brembos in..and had some extra money so opted for some ferodo ds2500s all round...much better....too hard on the brakes and you lock up easy lol

got a cusco BCS to alleviate the horrible firewall flex i had....fit spot on and works wonders to pedal feel...will be going satin black asap lol

Sti muffler has been fitted up...opted to make a new diffback...not entirely happy with the sound honestly? So am gonna keep both and run the invidia...maybe replace the resonator for an oval muffler later and use the sti muff as a "i wanna keep it quiet today" sorta thing? But will tune it on the invidia

Car drives awesome! Solid plate clutches is forked when taking off slowly lol...but other than that its smooth as butter...just gotta practice some more i think

Everything is going away for powdercoating tomorrow which im fairly excited about...including the diffback ;)....just dunno if i should leave the tip chrome? Hmmmm

Car has a a tiny leak in the rear window that ill reseal this week..easy fix

And i need to adjust the rear windows alignment as they let a few drips in...another easy fix

Paint all looks tops and i just have to fit the front lip and the spats/pods up along with the window spoiler

All in all its progressed well..once the powdercoat bits are refitted, alignment resorted and window resealed its on daily duties for work
