Ha that was something I noticed as SLRs were getting cheaper, some are doing it right though, others think they are awesome photographers, however I am pretty sure my old nokia

6500 slide takes better pics sometimes

i'm hearing ya... i see some pics and think... you paid for that!!! wow!

however if you know what your doing the camera doesnt mean much...

2nd: Gen 2 RX... Loved and lost...
3rd: 1995 Toyota Corolla which drove from Cairns to Bunbury in 5 Days! 6610km!!! didnt miss a beat.
4th: Gen1 GX bought for $500 went like stink... looked like what caused the stink
5th: More civilized now... with a Heritage Wagon... now gone...
6th Mitsubishi KJ Verada..."its nothing like a suby" now gone...
7th: 2002 B4 Liberty TT....

8th: MY04 Subaru Liberty GT Premium Pack Wagon

I will admit, I would love to learn how to use a camera properly, and not just use the auto setting, then maybe I just may take more than 4 photos a year.

Hey guys! Just finished catching up on the remainder of last month's GT and the new GT. I would like to wish Ash a late happy birthday, and a happy Father's Day to all the dads on SubyClub. Also the best of luck with your thing Nik. Hope everything works out for the better.

Had a pretty good weekend, and loved the weather! Hopefully there is more coming in, however I did hear on the radio that it is going to be quite a wet Spring...

Good news from me, I've heard back from the Aviation Rescue and Fire Fighting position I applied for! Here is the email I received:

Dear Gary,

Congratulations! You have been successful in progressing to the next stage of the recruitment process for Aviation Rescue Fire Fighter.

You are now invited to complete a number of online assessments, which include a Mechanical, Verbal, Talent Screener and Spatial Assessment.

This information pack provides you details on the assessments you will be completing, as well as some guidelines on completion. Please read through the information before completing the assessments.

I can't wait! It's not a MAJOR thing as I've progressed to this stage last time I applied but then again, I haven't been rejected from the get-go. The tests must be completed by this Friday.
