Finally! I was gonna open a topic for soccer discussion this morning actually, ha ha ha. Glad to see it's opened. No more hate given in the GT now. :P

I've got a few teams I support so I will list them,

  • Sydney FC - A-League
  • Manchester United - English Premier League
  • Benfica - Portuguese Primeira Liga
  • Real Madrid - Spanish La Liga
  • Australia and Portugal - International

The new A-League is starting soon! I'm seriously considering buying a season ticket and make it to every home game this season...

Bloody soccer fiends!!

If I watch it though, it has to be Liverpool.

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

I should just convert to single, right?

I followed Leeds United when Harry Kewell played for them, and then when he left for Liverpool I started following them and have followed them very strongly since.

Good start to the season for The Reds!

Yeah i followed leeds when kewell and Viduka were there too. But switched to Stoke when i was living in England and they were the local team. They were playing championship back then, and ive followed them up into Premier league.

I also keep tabs on Leicester city , simply because i lived there for a bit too, i fact i lived just down the road from Walker stadium, and worked across the road from it. Its hard not to pay attention when its in your face like that. I went to see Stoke play Leicester at walker stadium. Lots of people dont like Stoke, but there is one thing that cannot be denied. They have THE loudest away fans in the league.

I do quite like watching the battle of the geordies when Newcastle plays Sunderland.  Theres something about a local derby.

The closest Stoke has had to a local derby in recent years, is when they play, funnily enough, Derby County.

I pity any defender that has to deal with our Kenwyn Jones.  He's a big piece of man to try and muscle out of the penalty box.

Why Liverpool Ash?

Probably just because I went with my mate to watch a game, and I got into it....probably had more to do with the copious amounts of alcohol in my system.

Only one of the best teams in the world Sam. 20 wins in the EPL alone. Spewing Ferguson has left though, I feel as if Moyes isn't doing anywhere near as good a job however it is too early in the season to rush into any full-on comments or statements. Let's see what he makes of the team in the next couple of weeks.

Shit gaz bit of a glory hunter takin most top teams! Don't follow A league but Newcastle united all the way TOON army and got to stick to my home grown Scotland for international

They've been teams I've followed since I remember, and I've stuck with them ever since whether they've won or lost. :P
