Pretty annoying when you need it and it doesnt work..
Can someone with a working one upload the files from the sdcard?
If i cant get mine going Morgan you can try my cable.

the VAG-com cables probably work with them
yup... though maybe only 1 of the couple of types around.

Thread revival.
After hearing nothing back from Daren after the last text message, a very strange thing happened.
A random car pulled up to the driveway. A mysterious man got out, put something in the letterbox and drove away. Must have been old mate because it was a new cable!
Granted this happened many months ago, I've only just remembered it. Tried it out on the GT and bingo - it works!
Good to have the scanner running again. Liberty doesn't have a din pocket like the XT had so won't be able to permanently mount it. Still, good to know it all works again

I offered to pay for it back when I first asked for it!
Haven't heard from him since the mysterious cable appearance. Pretty slack customer service though...
