Knowing him it probably transitions to pink as he rides it.

The worst thing is, no matter how comfortable I am, when it comes to tests, even with things I know inside out, I get nervous. hopefully I calm them before the day.

Just think what you get out of it when you pass. Riding should be fun, not stressful.

Make a real conscious effort to relax your shoulders and arms, people make the mistake of leaning on the handlebars and they get really sore shoulders and arms afterward. Your body should be held upright by your stomach/core muscles and you can pretty much squeeze your legs together on the tank to hold yourself to the bike.

Just do a few hours on the bike you'll pick it up quick.

Schweet, I will certainly keep that in mind. Hopefully I get to play around with my mates bike on the 2nd, so that should help me out.

no need to be nervous, it doesn't feel like a test it is more of a training day. if you don't get something they help you out until you do. I had a guy on the day I went (only 5 of us) who had never sat on a bike before and breezed through it. It is a pretty simple course (NSW anyway).

Yeah... that'll be me.. played with a dirt bike for like a day, changing gears and shite about 5 years ago... but yeah, that would be my only experience with a bike... See how I go on the 7th and 8th

Hey bike guys... dumb question..is it possible to register a bike I buy in say... my dad's name... and not my own, for certain reasons... even if he doesn't have a bike license, but has a driver's?

Don't think it really matters.

If you can do it with a car, can't see why not for a bike.

@ASH; This would suit you, bogan beard and all!

This would be the ONLY Harley I would own, a v-rod.

That looks tough. Reminds me of Batman.

The best part is, they sound nothing like a HD.

They actually sound awesome.

That's due to it being a completely brand new bike, they designed it from scratch

This was parked out the front today:

BMW S1000RR

At first I thought it was a Jap bike.

Aftermarket rear set pegs, quick shifter and custom levers.

After looking at it for a while, my **** went hard.

Those RR's are very nice - I just can't get past the weird shaped eyeballs though.

I noticed that but didn't care.

It also has gills in one side of the fairing and a single opening in the other.

Swing arm was impressive. Damn near 300mm wide and the chain passes through it.

Apparently you can set the weather conditions so the ABS and traction control can adjust their parameters.
