Hey lads,
Here we go again for the 3rd time this year. Yes that's right, 3rd time and my 3rd forester...This year.
I looked and looked for STI's, I found one worth looking at and it sold as quick as it could come up for sale. Everything else was abused, had been written off once or overpriced. I gave up after much disappointment.
So, After the usual carsales search, I started looking at wagons again. After working on both Harry's and Ryan's facelift SG XT's recently, They started growing on me.
I found two worth looking at. Both black, Both local, Both in my price range.
The first one fell through after the owner refused to bring it to my workshop for a quick inspection/road test. These things happen, See you later mate!
The second one gave the ok for me to inspect it. He sounded very confident, A good sign! Sure enough he brought it in, I checked it over with a fine tooth comb and I couldn't find one thing to talk him down on price. I couldn't believe it. The paint was a bit rough here and there. It's a used car, Paint can be fixed!
The next day Lachy (A close mate/Member on here) drove me over to the foresters house in the silver turd (My daily driver) Money exchanged hands (After a large stuff around), I drove it home, It wasn't even in the driveway 5 minutes before we started ripping it apart and tinkering with things. Stay tuned for that story.
It's slow, It's black, It's not a luxury one 
My plans are clean, safe power, buckets of torque, make it handle like it's on rails and not as much police attention as my last forester.
A few big weeks of mods, paint, tidying and getting it to my standard coming up. I'll make sure to take plenty of photos and update when I can.
