Hi Guys,

Just because its such a pain to find I've uploaded the Pinout diagrams I've found from the Subaru Workshop manual for BE5 models.

ecu7 is for the ECU Pinout map.

Have fun!

Cheers,

Will

Been browsing everywhere, this seems to be the closest to what I'm looking for!!

If you guys are active can you tell me if this ECU might work as my replacement. I've got a 2002 Liberty B4, that's been converted to single turbo, my tuner said if I can source an 01 WRX STI ecu, he can flash it for me. Currently sourcing a TK version 7 AH190 ecu.

Oscar,

check on clubsub.org.nz - there's a single-conversion how-to which lists the compatible ECU's

You basically need to ensure your # of plugs match (3 vs. 4) and CR unless it can be tuned.

Yes you  can use that Tommy Kaira V7 ECU as both cars use the 5 plug Denso ECU (both reflashable).

However it will not be plug and play. It will require some pin swaps + deletes and retune for the different CR.

It would be simpler to use the existing TT ecu and run a separate high quality boost controller.ie

Is there a way to "read" what an ECU's map is? I have my stock Denso (early Rev) ECU plus a Mines ECU. According to the "seat of the pants" dyno they drive about the same, might be another 2psi on the Mines. Just wondering if there's a way to read the Mines ECU via SSM or similar? Have tried VAG/OBD - detects the car but won't read any sensors.

Attempted to get the AH190 TK edition ECU up and going, turns out the 5 or so input changes weren't enough, not able to single out which one was the fuel controller, in the process of trying to hunt down specific pinouts for mine + TK ecu.

The reason I need to change ECU is that my stock B4 ecu runs a really shit idle. And there's no definitions for my tuner to flash over it. If you guys have anyone in Melbourne to recommend I'd definitely go to them to get it checked!

hay Martin

I'm currently doing a engine swap on my Liberty B4 2001
going from the stoke twin turbo to a WRX 2003 single turbo

just asking if all went well with the installation and if you had some helpful tips

    thanks
