If it involves culling booze, I would suggest Thiamine tablets.

 

They are working wonders for me, and AMS seems to be slowly seeing benefits.

Not sure if Josh ended up getting on it.

I've started drinking again so I doubt I'd see the same benefits as you Nik. I can't say I've had any noticable improvements but in taking them every day anyway.

I hear you Amster. When you are drinking it just makes it a bit harder for the body to absorb, but it can't hurt! It took me ages before I noticed anything improving in my memory.

 

I was pretty bad though!

Coming into silly season probably wouldn't be the best time for it. In saying that though, it's a shitload healthy than what I put myself through at the moment, so it may actually be a good thing.

Starting "tomorrow" is only an excuse.

Strangely enough, the hardest part will probably be the only drinking water part of it, i'm so used to having several coffees throughout the day.

I do already drink about 2-3 litres of water a day, it's just cutting out the other beverages on top.

Unfortunately some of us have to put more effort into life than others I've actually gotten almost all my jobs via the same friend in some way. Without him I dunno where I would be, maybe I would have given up on the Web industry by now.

 

Sad about Paul, but at least he went riding a sweet chariot and doing something he loved.

 

Christmas stuff has been put up. I get less excited as an adult, but I've already finished my christmas shopping online haha.

Good career choice Adam considering that almost everything you buy was on a truck at least twice.
To obtain the qualification you will need to find an employer willing to sign you up as an apprentice so the qual is 'under apprenticeship conditions'.
 
If you hold a Cert III qual or higher and are over 20yo you may need to pay 'fee for service' rates which would be around $13 per hour and the qual would be nearly 1000 hours.
There are exemptions for trades that are considered 'skills shortage' and I know there are a large number of Automotive trades that fall in this category.
