Hi,

Honestly if we keep being told to start a new thread for evertything then there's no point in having a GT.

This is wrong. Subject specific threads are more important than the GT, especially when it comes to newer members finding information. While things like Motorbicycles aren't 'Subaru' - they are a discussion topic that is part of the fabric of our community - showing people that we're more than just a group of boxer heads. Can you imagine how boring our meets would be if we only talked about Subaru related topics!?

true enough, but when I basically look at it this way;

If it consumes more than a page of GT chatter - it's worthy of a thread, also, there is sufficient interest in the topic that allowing new people to join the discussion could be beneficial to everybody.
