Sorry to hear this Josh.
I'm sure you could say she has had a long and loving life.
Mastiffs are the best dogs and 14 years is more than a solid effort for the breed.
Man, I get affected more when a dog is on its last legs more then a human these days.
This.
If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

@joshbosskong - sorry to her about your dog man. I think the reason losing/or having a poorly dog gets to us so much, is because they shiw unconditional love for us. They dont get moody, have shit days, or any of that human nature shit to get in the way.
Sig worthy.

I crashed out at 8pm last night, woke up 30 minutes ago.
Finally a good night sleep.
Sorry to hear Joshkong
I should just convert to single, right?As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;
"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

And this came after last week when the Mrs was in hospital for a few days and my mother had the kids. The day Kirsty was released from hospital we had arranged for her mum to pick Kirsty up then go pick the kids up from my mums place drop Kirsty of then watch the kids for the arvo/night until I finished work. So anyways I get home are 9pm and find the kids home and running around the house. Asked what was going and found out she had dropped Kirsty and the kids off after she had picked them up so she could go have a few drinks with work mates at a local club.
And to top it all off the stupid bitch refused to say hello or merry Christmas to me when she walked into my house on Christmas morning.

I'm at the point I need to say something to her but it will all come back on Kirsty and just make things even worse

Yeah man, logically something needs to be said to her, so she knows she just can't do this and be this way, but there will be consequences to talking to her, and it won't be good... not a fun situation to be in...
What does the missus say? It is her mother after all...

Speaking if working, my generator isn't. On the busiest day of the year I may have to close the cafe.

That sux massive balls.
I can't imagine the workload of small twins (mine are two years apart), let alone another on the way.
As hard as it might be, sounds like you would be better off without the 'help' and just let her see the kids when one of you is around and at a time that suits you, not her.Obviously your children's safety and welfare comes ahead of anything else.
I have a the reverse problem, to a much lesser extent. My MIL is awesome with the kids and follows our parenting style and rules, where my Mum lets the kids do what ever they like and leaves us to deal with the aftermath. In the middle of a blue with my Mum, I reminded her that seeing the kids was a privilege, not a right. I felt quite bad for saying it, but it needed to be said.
