I didn't even ask for a discount on my Hyundai compressor, and he knocked off $100 something dorrah. At DAP, go figure.

Actually, no, it was Auto1.

Because Nik always gets a (dic)count....

Pretty cool birthday present... but a lot of cash for them to fork out for the car man.... How long are you thinking of keeping the car for?
Might be that the money could be more useful somewhere else in your life? just a thought.

Chrome everything!

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

That is what I was thinking dude... I like the car and all, but the respray will be half the cost of the car pretty much, so nah... maybe I'll just get cash from them... put it into the mortgage will I need to something with it... or use some of it to air condition the house... summer is forking mental in the west... LOL!

I will however get the passenger door dents fixed, so car doesn't look so crap! haha... that is the worst damage I think... the rest are just little dents and scratches all over.. :)

Yeah, I say chrome your arse.

So I can say "Bite my shiny metal ass"

Chrome everything!

The ladies so like the bling don't they?

It would more then likley be cheaper to find a whole door to replace it with then get the dents removed
Been looking for forged pistons and rods for my build. Can't decide what brand to go with.... so many options.

The cost of a decent respray would be almost, if not more than the value of the car Zac.
Maybe you should should suggest something else?

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Good stuff man... I wouldn't save any money riding to work, because I wouldn't... haha... 60km in peak hour traffic from the west to the city... insane!

Yeah that is true too... got quoted $700 for the front quarter panel, which has some damage, and to have the door fixed too... which isn't bad I guess... but will try to find the actual panels at wreckers or something... see how much that works out too...

Haha... will do man... they know I'm into my car, so that is all they could think of but yeah, will tell them I'd be happier with the cash... and can put that towards my next car or holiday or whatever one day... and will sit in the mortgage for now... :)

Today is the first day in yonks I've had to myself. School holiday's mean looking after my son every day I have off work. He's at daycare today so I've made a list of things to get done on the car.......long list.....probably won't find the time to get even 1/2 of it done because the house is a bloody mess also.

Soon as I finish this cup of Kwoffee I'll have to get my bitch on and smash through the house work but my back is forked ATM and that's going to slow me down.

Dumping Ibuprofen like a junkie.

I want to get my list done!!!!

Sti group N gearbag mount, plastidip stuff, paint wheels, paint 4 pots, new front speakers, fix Sub, Sti foot rest installed, boost guage pillar pod, vac, wash, raise front coilovers 5 - 10mm's and have a play with the exhaust gas control valve to see if I can get back to 20 psi.

Need to pull a Pete.
