Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Dad went for an 430km ride last Saturday. Chain wouldn't lose that much loob in one ride...

Except he has a diff. So it would be irrelephant in his case.

Soz dude... but it was... was with HR and the IT Manager... they asked such generic questions, didn't really answer any of mine properly... think the role is a little too under me, but if they want me, they will change the role to be more senior..

It's not a must do, it's just recommended to keep it happy and healthy.

When the chain is dry (ie. unlubed) the chain joints will wear out quicker and it could eat sprocket teeth quicker.

Not mandatory, just a suggestion for ~30 seconds work to save the chain snapping/sprocket getting destroyed quicker than it needs to.

they will change the role to be more senior..

Make sure you get that in writing or some sort of formal agreement on that.

They got me in here (where I am now) cheap with the promise of an early payrise once I showed I was worth it then the guy who made the promise quit a few months later and I never ended up getting the payrise.

Bastards.

Ugh i could ramble on for forking days about this stuff.

Had that happen to me here too... 1.5 years later, still on same salary, no bonus... wtf... they better give me a payrise and bonus this year, or else... goodbye...

And they are better be taking us to NZ for the snow this year like they promised...

I was just using a aerosol can of white grease. The chain was pretty much forked when I bought it. Wish I knew better. But I am going to buy proper chain lube for this chain. So far it's set me back about $170 to change the sprockets and chain, not including the axle. I will be spraying the chain weekly. It can't hurt to over lubricate it!
