USDM is different though. None of their Outbacks have cladding - it's all painted on.

Nah they are clip on moulds, just not on the fenders. The door moulds are the same as our ADM ones. It's the Gen 2's that are painted on.

Maybe they are clipped on but they look so different to Aus models.

US didn't get flares on gen 3's as Morgan said, gen 4's and on did get them.

No flares over the wheel arches - correct
But the rest of the lower moulding was there - ie.door moulds

Only minor difference between USDM and ADM door moulds is the ADM ones had about 100mm of textured finish at the base of the mould.
Anyway, the important ones for this thread are Gen 4's and both ADM and USDM Gen 4's had the whole kit.

Same guards, just with holes in them.
