Hi All,

Simple question,
Are the Gen4 Outback Guard flares stuck on with a heap of tape or do they just stay in position due to their shape and some screws/ clips into the guard-liner/ lip area?
Pic for reference

Well, I've learned something today.
Gen3 ones should be close enough to fitting a Gen2 though

Maybe, but good luck finding a wrecker that will sell the flares on there own. Not a cheap or easy task but not impossible.

I would like to see Gen 3 Outback flares attempted on a sedan at any rate - either Gen 2 or Gen 3 sedan...

well the gen4 outback at my local wrecker has had a front ender where it's gone under something,
guards and bonnet are toast, but it's popped the flares off in one piece and the bumper intact

The early Hondas (late 80s/early 90) were used on Johans black gen2 in the US. They look better than those Audi ones. There was also the dark green gen 2 which had some Lexus IS250 flares on. They looked the goods too.

Aek, I've been thinking about doing something like that too. But it means having to go from my cr kai 8" to something 9 or 10 with bugger all offset. And no, not Rotas.

Yeah that's the USDM Outback Sedan, but they don't have the actual fender flares.
