Pedders coilovers are no different to bc racing or kido coilovers.

Maybe second hand?

BC's are $1100 new. Pedders are $1600 new.

Exact same coilover, just rebranded and repainted.

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

which are better? and what are you guys paying installed?

I've been quoted $2200 for both pedders and BC's Fitted...

 2 different places of course...

maybe its just a case of west coast inflation... but guys who are running them i'd love to know what you paid...

$1800 seems a bit steep.

Talk to ichiban and even with shipping they should be way cheaper.

Obviously it is cheaper to put them in yourself, being a wagon its a piece of piss.

Would only take an hour to do for someone that hasn't done it before. So I can't see any shop charging more than 2 hours worth of work to do it.

pays to check the vendors section mate ;)

we sell and install BC's starting at $1189 for sub club members:

http://www.subyclub....cing-coilovers/

fyi BC and peders share many components and the peders coilovers are Similar to the $1189 BC v1's, HOWEVER they dont come with pilo or camber tops.

thanks, Ben.

Here ya go.
Gen4 with tuned by STi billies and pink springs

Best upgrade ever FOR towing with.
the stiffer (6kg) STi spring rates in the rear completely resist the extra weight of my camper (can be up to 900kg when fully loaded) and only puts 70-80kg download on the ball as it's properly weighted/ packed front to rear

the stock specB black springs are under 5kg at the rear and are far too soft

I like them so much, I'm putting a strut spacer kit so i can keep them, but get a 1" taller ride height

Then handling is spot on, (have 22mm rear bar in it aswell)
much better than the stock black springs which are too soft.
And the ride is actually better. it doesn't crash over rough roads, can still park it nose over most gutters and concrete stoppers

Loves the track too as I found out the other day.... (18's re-fitted)

i think that has converted me... coilovers are just too much hassle.... and no mechanic down here wants to fit em unless they are Pedders...

how much was the sway bar?
