Yo!

So I thought it would be straight forward, but I'm wrong. Anyone got any pics or guides to fit a hayman Reese towbar to a gen 2?

is it the hd one or normal one. e.g does it bolt straight to the rails or does it have extra pieces?

Have you put any more thought into squeezing some more power out of the engine. Like strapping on one of those intake fans

Straight to the rails by the looks of it.

I think I've worked it out. I need to notch a part of the rio, and the rio is kind of in 2 separate pieces bolted together and it gets sandwiches between them??

To me it looks OK 'dam.

Is the tow tongue hitting the reo the issue?

Yeah. Without notching it around that tongue, all the holes won't line up.

The reo looks lightweight. Could you 'adjust' it with a hammer to allow the tongue to fit?

I cut about half the width of it out. It's still good. Nothing structural anyway it's just to support the bumper and it can't fold because the tongue will stop it, so essentially I've made it stronger.

The jerks at Hayman Reese have thought it would be a good idea to put fine threads on 4 of the 6 captive nuts. Wtf.

It's all back together now. But doesn't clear the rear lip. :( I'll have to get a 5-10 mm spacer made up to drop the bolt on tongue down just a little bit

Agreed.

I rate it at 6/10 for the second point.

The first point better but still a little bent so 7/10.

Bent? :P
