Hi Guys,
I have a little bit of a problem. Bonnet hits the intercooler and I can't lower it anymore than it already is.
What would be the best way to go about spacing my bonnet? Looking at about 10mm - 20mm lift.
Cheers,
Will

I think so... but I think YannsB4 did this before I think? Raised the top of this bonnet slightly with washers or something? Or maybe it was someone else...

Very illegal.
Trim your splitter instead.

Splitters totally removed. It still doesn't clear.

Have you put any more thought into squeezing some more power out of the engine. Like strapping on one of those intake fans

Washers/spacers on the bonnet hinges, then longer bolts if needed.
Have to adjust the adjusters (rubbers that wind up and down) on the front edge afterwards.

I'd have to say hopefully only about 5mm - 10mm at most. Anymore and i'm buying a new intercooler.
I'm thinking of getting an extra nut underneath. If anyone is at the next meet hopefully they can gimme some advice :S

What Skyline owner hasn't done this? hahah..
I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

Put in 2 washers as spacers. It looks hardly noticeable and I hope this is the clearance I need. It sounds good so far the only rattling I can hear now is the forged pistons when they're still cold.
