Firstly, the line from the turbo that tees into the wastegate actuator has a restrictor pill in it. Was it put into the new line?
That BOV plumbing is no good.
What is the blue vac line that goes to the driverside connected to? Boost guage?

Ok, run you boost gauge from the small manifold line on the front of the manifold. Theres 3 lines there, 2 fat & one thin.
Replace the old grey hose & tee the gauge vac line in there. It's the best place for it and it will simplify the mess around the BOV
Follow the line on the top of the BOV untill it's first join and disconnect it from the t piece. That single line needs direct manifold pressure and nothing else plumbed into it so plug it into the metal line that the rest of the old BOV plumbing is connected to.
That's your BOV done.
Next is the line to the boost solenoid in the passenger gaurd. You need to remove all the old BOV lines that connect to this boost solenoid line but it needs to be left connected to the plastic air intake and you need to block off the hose that was plumbed into it.
Effectively closing the vac line connection between the BOV & the BCS and forcing them to work individually.

How did you go with the BOV plumbing?
Clean your MAF with contact cleaner.

Clean that sucker up. Those 2 sensors are together in the MAF unit. Grab a can of CFC MAF Cleaner from Supercrap/Ripco. Make it a routine to clean it when you do a service every 5000km, along with a can of Subaru Upper Engine Cleaner.

Sounds like it needs a good service, mate.
Oil, plugs, upper engine clean, filters etc.
