Anyone tried out the Phillips Xtreme Vision LED brake light set?

I was thinking of giving it a go but at $170 for the pair its a bit of a risky investment for a light bulb lol 

you can get them off eBay over seas for under $100 shipped but still are they worth it?

Note the off road use only lol so im assuming there fairly bright?

I couldn't justify spending that much on brake light globes. Especially if your lense is red also.

Yeah, not worth the money

If your brake lights can be seen, you don't need them. It probably would annoy other drivers at night also.

If you really want them, just buy cheap made ones from China. I would never spend that much as any LED will last a long time.

They do make good reverse lights though!

The reason it has off road only, as they are not legal as far as how much light they put out. Plus its not legal to go from halogen/incandescent to LED.
