Morning

Yo so thinking of painting the Courier Amythyst, thoughts?

Seeing its a Holden colour from the early '70's, I would encourage it.

The H6's are all going BOOOOOM around 200 clicks just so youknow.

Which bit goes boom?

AFAIK head gaskets and timing chain/tensioners are known issues, both of which are fixable.

The word is the factory tuned detonation kills the head gasket, but a tune solves that.

As Cam mentioned, carbon. Regular servicing with good oil and some UEC each service should solve that.

I love me a H6 ;)

I love mine too.

Dat noise!

If I told you I was a compulsive liar, would you believe me?

Hey strangers,

What do you think?

http://www.carsales....9/?Cr=1&sdmvc=1

Need a daily driver.. driving 80km's/day for work.. can't drive Turbo.. comfy and it's a Suby.

Would love an H6 but they are pricey and fuel economy I hear isn't as good as the 2.5

Nick

That would be a nice drive.

I wouldn't think the 2.5 would use a lot less than the H6, after all they are both hauling the same weight. I got chatting to a bloke with an (auto) Premium wagon and our fuel consumption was not that different. He was surprised at how much fuel a 2.5 could chew through.

Welcome back BTW!

Also, there is a dedicated thread that is being used and working well.

I'm trying to use the Food Thread - sometimes it's hard to remember.

Speaking of which, snapper was goooooooooooooooooooooooood.

Will the new Nexus be bigger? I'd need to buy special pants with big pockets if it is.

I went with my own "seasoning" on the snapper. Worked out pretty well. I'd have to say thyme is my most understood herb now.

I'd love to get a bit more into sage!

Sorry man, but that fish looked rank.

Might be just because I do't like fish though!

I put up with people from amnesty, red cross and now the cancer council almost daily hounding me!! Throw in the greens, green peace, unhcr, save the forking children and I've well and truly hit my limit for the number of fuckstains wanting me to sign something or give money. Seriously cubts,  :fork: right off.

Haha, it's pretty hard to make whole baked fish look appealing. That's my problem with it. And the fiddliness of it all, it's like ordering crab at a restaurant.

MESSY.

I'd love to get a bit more into sage!

Sage for Chicken, all day baby.

Eating whole fish is easy.

Also I love the whole fish presentation when they get it right at restaurants.

If I was eating it on my own, lay it down, and flake the meat off the top, this way you avoid the bones in your mouth because you find them as you eat. Halfway down you get to the spine. Lift spine and head of in one, then flake away again!

I think I'll have to go with the cheapest option, I could do with a new box too. There was a half cut at Ichybum for yonks which only had 54k on it but it looks like I've missed out on that one.
