If he's 'blacklisted' - he'll know it when he gets his next insurance bill. If it's because the cops told
him, then I stand by my LOL.

So it's not like being wanted, he won't just randomly get arrested next time a cop is around.

I think ( if it is a thing at all) it just means that his plates have been put into their system and so whenever his plates are scanned by cops it will let them know

Apparently happened to a mate of mine (though he didn't say blacklisted) and lasts only 3 months

No, it's nothing at all like being wanted. They want you to fork up again, and I highly doubt it was a real blacklisting anyway, because they don't tell you if you're on a blacklist - just like a tenant blacklist in realty. Just means you've done goofed up enough that they can pretty much suspect you're doing something wrong just when you're breathing.

If they told him, then they were out to scare him, but probably have his details amongst the local cops to hassle him out whenever possible.

Yep, and only certain HWP cars even have the onboard unit that has the list capability.

I think I was blacklisted once. All I know is that for about 2 months, I was pretty much RBT'd everytime a HWP was around...

Forking RTA/RMS. Hate this shit. I Have a bus inspection booking @ 10:30. They tell you to be 10-15mins early. I got here at 10:18. The guy tells me I'm late. I said "mate I'm 3 mins late from being 15mins early"

So after looking around the garage last night at all the bits and pieces I have laying around that I won't end up selling, I decided that my next project ( after my car is back on the road) is to build myself a buggy that I can take up to our property and thrash around in. And with using parts I have and material from work I estimated that I could do the whole thing for under $1000 I just need to find myself a short ( size wise) Fwd gearbox that can handle a bit Of power. Any ideas?
