Bought some RAYS, Versus Sesto Turismo 17x7 +42
They were in a sorry state so I did some of the prep work and got a painter to put the base coat on them and finished off with a 2k clear
Painted a subaru colour, can't remember the code now

Cheers :)

Done a bit of cleaning and painting today in prep for putting the new engine in

I pulled most things off the engine just till I was left with the long block and did some soda blasting on both the engine and gearbox
Followed by some degreaser

Some of my shopping list from subaru arrived the other day so I went about installing what I got
D5FF2BA8-4A54-4233-99F1-A28D62011E8F.jpg

Mainly just oil seals and gaskets

So I pulled the front of the motor down and replaced cam seals, cam o-rings, crank seal, timing belt and water pump
A2362705-6E8E-43AF-AED9-BAFF0447FC28.jpg

Ended up going a genuine cast water pump instead of the usual aftermarket ones
The difference is obvious and should be a tad more efficient

And all back together

Also cleaned and painted my rocker covers
And installed a new cover gasket
Will put them back on the motor tomorrow

Not to much more to do to the motor after this and I'll be done :)
