Funny you should ask

Went to the tyre shop today and they are tracking down a o ring kit for the valve stems for me, if they can't get it I'll have to buy some new stems

Normal stems won't fit unfortunately

Some funny things about the Tassie cruise......

1) All of the cars were lowered on Coilovers (2 Gen2's with BC BR's and a Gen3 with BC V1's) and there was only one mention of scrubbing and that was me

and only because of an already bent front guard lip.

2) Two of the cars were turbo powered but the 2.2 N/a had no trouble keeping up through the corners and seemed to be in the right rev range to blast through those corners.

3) Wob's car had it all over me & my 294mm discs and 4 pots, in braking power. Allowing him to enter a corner hot & exit hot.

A lot of people were very impressed with this car!

For good reason.

Oh and we tackled some rough tracks as well.  Dirt roads, off road, sand, gravel you name it!

Car is coming along nicely Rob!  Can't wait to see the new wheels.

That brake setup worked really well on my car, cant imagine how it feels on yours.

Cheers Jp
Gen 2 is a pretty good base I reckon
Rego papers only reckon it weights 1210 or something close to that

Yeah brakes work amazingly
Due for rear pads shortly so ill probably get some slotted rotors for the rear

Such a good car, and it just keeps getting better and better!

Nothing like an RA spec gen2! No abs, no cruise...just needs turbo one day and itll be near perfection!

stating the obvious isn't a deep need for reassurance or any of that nonsense, its simply stating the obvious ;)
