Cool cool, wasn't sure what the mix was.

There are times when Megan buys furniture from somewhere on ebay or whatever and I have to go over to my sister to borrow her ute, and if she she is busy, which she usually is on weekends, then I can't pick anything up and have to wait till she is free. It has happened quite a bit last year, but maybe 6-8 times in the year. Is that not enough reason to get a trailer, should I just hire one when I need it?

How much is a trailer VS renting one 6 times. And how much more furniture can she really buy if she bought 8 pieces last year that required a trailer?

I would say buying a trailer is about $800, and then rego is about $100 a year, or cheaper, depending on the size of the trailer, and renting a trailer works out to about $50 for half a day it seems.

She does like to buy and sell furniture around the house swap things around sometimes, I don't know why, it must be a chick thing.

Going to check out a yellow cafe racer style GS500 today on the way home from work, near my house

Dents will remain for a while, too much to fix them up right now, so will wait a little longer

Yup, making a conscious effort to stop the dots of doom, not as easy as you'd think for me, but yeah, does make me look like less of a tool when I'm posting on here

Zac, tell her to stop buying furniture.

I wish I could, but she enjoys it

That is pretty much what dinner time is like at my house, but I wish I shot the MIL.

Sigh

Yup, think I'll just hire a trailer when she wants me to pick something up. It is only $50 a day, and I don't have to worry about rego or pink slips for it. Just got to make sure I do more than 1 pick up each time I rent a trailer, to make it more worthwhile.

Seriously, what does your house look like, is she turning into a hoarder? where do you keep all this furniture? or does she get rid of old stuff to make room?

Ahh yeah just read the long version of Zacs response.
I guess that is fair enough.

Zac, if it is going to be a fairly common thing (like 8+ a year) maybe then look into what a trailer is worth to register each year.

OH MY GOD HOW MUCH DO YOU NEVER WANT TO MEET THIS WOMAN?

Incorrect response. Buying a trailer would increase the frequency due to perceived lessened burden on the action. Thus costing more money anyway, and eating more time Isaac could be living, with more time Isaac is driving a sideboard to Woolloomoolooo.

HAHA!

You guys are hilarious!

Well yeah, she does buy and sell things, things like chairs or desks or recently a room divider screen thing, that is what she gets, so it isn't too bad, and she does sell stuff as well, most of the time, for a profit, so that is good.

But Nik does have a good point, if I had a trailer, she'd probably want me to go out every other weekend to pick things up. Might as well rent a trailer maybe once ever 2 months and tell her I'm getting it, so she can organise all her pickups for that day.

And yes, she does organise and declutter the house a lot, but no colour coding, because she knows I'm colour bind, so there isn't much point when I'd mess everything up for her. Lol!

for a normal 6x4 box trailer rego is $60yr in NSW.

and then trailers like this pop up all the time

http://www.gumtree.c...ilor/1043557800

If you got the space in your yard for one then they come in handy. even though i got a ute i still am glad it has a tow bar, and would have had one fitted if it didn't have one.

you could always advertise to hire it out on gumtree for like $50 a weekend or something. could be risky but you'd get your money back pretty soon.

Instead of a trailer, get stuff delivered, and when selling, use a courier or local pick up.

Simples.

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

I should just convert to single, right?

Thanks for that Marky, yeah, you do have a ute, which is awesome, but if I had your ute, I don't think I'd want to carry too much stuff in the back, because it might damage/dent something.

I have a tow bar on the B4, but I don't know how confident I'd be with towing a heavy load for a while, with the engine pinging a little under 3000rpm these days.

I do have some space next to my garage where I could keep the trailer, but it wouldn't be in my backyard, so I guess it could get stolen, which wouldn't be good

Thanks Mr Meerkat, but stuff like a desk or couch, delivery people charge at least $120 from what we've experiences.

Lots of times, people have asked us if we can deliver for a fee, which only adds to the sale price of the item so it helps things move faster too I guess
