Yup, but because we live out west, delivery people who are willing to deliver this far are harder to find, and those that do, are quite rough with the pickup, so sometimes damage the goods

 

Probably just rent a trailer

I would suggest a tuner should be your first port of call.... that will do a lot more towards fixing the pinging than replacing your TMIC will.
Unless you are talking about having 75% of the fins bent beyond recognition and blocking air flow through your current TMIC I really don't think replacing it will make a bees dick of difference.

keep an eye out for a cheap box trailer.. under $400 then you will always sell it for $600+

even a rusted out tray isnt much to fix.. just keep an eye out and watch that the springs and frame aren't rooted..

 

my dad used to make a killing buying and selling trailers..

also those enclosed trailers types.. like tradies use... $1500 minimum.. its crazy

Yeah, I think the bent fins are causing a problem for sure, so quick fix would be see if a new TMIC will make a diff, then I'll go to a tuner, because tuners ain't cheap either, while a TMIC is and might solve the problem.

Sorry dude, I just have my doubts on that one. Chuck a new one on though see what happens... coming into this time of year you wont really know if it worked or not until next summer.

Did you track one down yet? remember I have one sitting in my garage on offer.

Instead of buying a trailer that you would use sometimes, fix your car that you use all the time, otherwise the trailer wouldn't get used anyway.
