Changed gears at 6000rpm a few times and still nothing, smashed everyone at the lights and no ping at all.

 

I think it is just the TMIC issue, because was 19 degrees outside tonight

I'm not totally convinced it will fix his woes, ambient temperature being lower might well help it a lot but I suspect that something other than the TMIC will be playing a role in the pinging when it is hot.
