I think I know the one you're talking about but I cannot remember the name of it for the life of me! I have heard and read good things about Grill'd although I've never been there myself.

Chur Burgers gets good reviews all the time, and so does the MooMoo place. 

Ribs and Burgers in Neutral Bay is awesome too.

I am definitely a +1 for The Sandwich Shop. I went there with Jess a little while ago and we loved it! I had the Smoked Salmon and Jess got the Original Pulled Pork. 10/10 for both dishes.
