Update -
stuffed up the third wheel with the re-paint so gave up and dropped them into Neway to be done properly. Going a different color also.
Replaced header tank due to a slight weep, gave it a fresh coat of satin black and replaced all coolant lines also.
Fitted a Defi Racer gauge into the drivers vent. Recessed it into the vent grill and also arc the grill / dash surround top and bottom to clear. May recess it a little more......
Tomorrows job, wire / plumb it up and fit 2 pot rears.

Have you thought about hacking a OBD2 reader screen and adapting it into a vent ? That way you could read a host of data and not just boost.
OBD2 screen wouldnt match my cluster gauges, this does.
Looks great, this has been on my to do list for ages
Cheers.

More vent gauges! Nice one
60mm gauge?

Cheers. Defi Racer gauges are 52mm. I had the BF series Defi 60mm one but that extra 8mm was too much. Thats why I sold it to buy this one. 52mm "just" fit.

Yeah cool.
I guess the Forester vents are taller so it fits in the grille easier. Still, arcing out the top and bottom trim so it sits flush works a treat.

Cheers. It is a good spot as its in direct eye line of the cluster gauges and is naturally angled towards the driver.
Sweet stuff!

Cheers. Will do so once wired up.

A few more little bits and pieces. (totally forgot to get day/night pics of gauge, will do so asap)
Sports pedals. Accel and brake are Gen4 and footrest is GD. All direct fit though.
Shifter surround. It was a satin chrome but had a big scratch in it. Stripped it back to plastic, prep and paint in satin black and the + - in red. I quite like it.
Header tank in satin black and vacuum lines to BBOD wrapped in black spiral wrap.
Line behind crash bar from BBOD to vacuum tank was a piece of rubber hose and not original spec and held on with cable ties. Got original parts and replaced.

Header tank looks a million bucks! I picked one up of Benny to do the same, mines looking hella crusty. Nice pedals too, always wondered if they would fit from Gen4. Bolt on ones or just rubber covers with the metal on top?

I got this one from Ben too.
Proper fitment ones that entirely replace the standard pedals. You have to remove the accelerator mechanism from the car to fit it easily as the pedal is roll pinned to the arm.

Weathers crap, not washing it.
STi billies have given it a perfect ride height....
Prova black muffler....
Really digging the wheels in 65Z....
Cargo mat and net....
Some numpty had fitted a battery with the terminals arse about - positive near the guard and it had no battery tray or positive clamp boot. New oem tray, positive clamp boot and black battery for neatness....
