Rare JDM Gen3 caliper porn. :D

Completely stripped, cleaned, seals regreased and painted. The Tommy Kaira I had to do with a fine brush by hand. Not 100% as its super fiddly. Still a few little bits to correct on it but you wont notice under the wheels.

Should be fitting over the weekend.

DUDE!!! Wow, you sure made them purdy! Definitely OEM+. The calipers look flawless.

 

Did you replace the lines and bleeding screws/nipples? And Mark could you share (again, probably) which paint you used? Is it Duplicolor Retro Red?

Cheers.

The bleed screws and cross over lines on them are stainless and in perfect nick. Just needed a clean and they look like new.

Color is VHT Real Red. Primed, 3 coats of red, 3 coats of clear.

Do you use high temp paint? You seem to get much nicer colours than the usual black, red and yellow haha

The custom colors I get mixed arent rated at high temps. Theyre 100% fine for normal driving but not for track work.

Just fitted and been for a drive. Fook me the pedal feel is amazing, rock solid! I was running a stock 07 XT front setup prior which is 294mm twin pot.
