Good on you for driving all that way for HVC.

I didn't get to check out many cars on the day, I'm glad I your car was one I managed to have a really good sticky beak at.

It's just beautiful & amazing from every angle, inside & out.  It's like they just took the plastic wrap off for delivery.

Outstanding car.

I was muttering something to the guy next to me after i'd done my initial inspection of this car & I think I said something like " I can't fault it at all!".... looked up and there was this guy with a big cheesy grin on his face.

How long were you watching me for lol?

A pleasure to meet you finally, Mark.

I still question, that out of anything you could have wagered, it was a mooning?

If JP won, he might have asked for  your keys.

Nothing was wagered initially, it was actually meant to be pants down around the table as I won without JP potting a ball which is standard rules. ;) He got off rather lightly. :)

It was a mission, but so glad I attended, had a ball!

1041km trip home from Cessnock! No cruise sucked!

Over the whole trip from Melbourne, through Sydney, cruise and home again the car's fuel consumption was 9.74L/100kms. Very happy with that.

Car was mint in person mate, have a look in Cams GT30 build thread the cruise control he got for his was great and looked very factory and worked just like factory cruise :) if that's something you were considering

Going back to the headers, did you notice any difference? Power, sound, response, etc?

^ This. I meant to ask about them too.

Sound yes and response hard to say. Sounds noisy under load.

New gaskets fitted all round with the header install. There was a gap of about 10mm between the headers and up pipes when fitted. The up pipes have the flex so pulled down to tighten.

There was a very slight noise prior so Im thinking the up pipe may have had a slight leak which has been exposed by meeting them up to the headers? I will be investigating the source on the weekend.

Oh man!! how bad is it. A few times when we stopped last year, I fell out of the car because my leg was dead.

As soon as she hands it to you, slowly take of your pants, then, while staring her straight in the eyes rub it against the tip of you penis, while continuing your painfully intense gaze whisper to her;

"My eye is watering, this might be a bit hot"

I should just convert to single, right?

It was a dead boring drive which was a good thing. Saw some bloody big roo's dead on the road side. Wouldnt want to hit one of them!

My legs were OK. :)

Yeah no cruise sucks haha!

@Mark, if you hit a big dead roo in the middle of the road in a lowered gen 3, it will crack your bumper, break off your engine under-tray, leave fur on every protruding bolt under the car, and unscrew your fumoto valve half a turn. Ask me how I know...

Small mod....

The STi springs had the car sitting dead level, well with a few mm all round. Good but with a small load it would obviously sit lower in the back.

I made up some solid 6mm rubber spacers in the profile of the top of the rear strut and these are mounted between strut and body. Looks much more even now.

Slight rear lift meant I could pull some negative camber out of the rear also.

Are you selling the car as well, or just another change in style?
