Spoke to the seller yesterday. Sent me a heap of hi res shots, car is near show condition. Its looking very promising.

Fucken hell...
Rang the seller. Talked a bit and Im ready to make an offer, I want the car.
He had an offer last freakin night! Which he accepted.
The other guy needs to organise funds so asked seller to hold it 'til Wednesday to give him time.
Nervous wait now 'til Wednesday to see if I missed out.

Replaced both front windows with some clean ones from Japan. The originals had some marks on them that used to bug me.
Ohh....... and new toy, Australian delivered rhd 1961 Chevy Belair. Sooo stoked!

Awesome! I think this needs it's own thread though Mark.
MY00 Red RX, a nice daily that was sold off once the B4 became reliable...
MY02 Blue B4, aka 'The Project' - v8 JDM STi engine package and assorted other 'goodies' - Sold, then bought back for parts. Stripped and crushed.
MY03 Blue RX, the newer old daily, pretty well more B4 than RX now... In the process of being converted to the track toy... Watch this space!
MY02 Silver Wagon, H6 conversion, full blue/black leather and almost full black interior to go with it. In process of being stripped and sold off.
MY03 White/Silver H6 Outback, donor car for silver waghoon. Scrapped.
MY97 Silver RX, acquired to become track car, but plans changed. Scrapped.
MY13 BRG, current daily, very nice to drive, small mods to make it even nicer again.

Original 283 and 2 speed power glide, although original cast iron housing power glide changed for a later model alloy housing one.
New thread once I collect in a week or so.
Its crazy clean too. Mods? Definitely air ride, wheels and disc brake front conversion. Has power brakes but drums.

Wow, love that shape. Very reminiscent of EH and XP but has that Yank flavour. That colour screams beach cruiser.

Mate just picked up an SS Chevelle and is doing the disc conversion as well.
Nice purchase Mark. Loving it. RHD to boot....lucky bastard.

Documented only 9 seater Belair delivered in 1961. Has rear dickie seat that folds into rear cargo area floor.
