Thanks but really in no rush to sell. Next car would not be a project at all. I have the Chev for that.

Well that's something I should of done a while ago....

Completely rebuilt the BBOD. Removed solenoids, put them on a test bench and actuated whilst cleaning.

Replaced all vac lines.

The one way valve in line 12 didn't seem to be working well, brake clean fixed that.

Car has only ever sat around .6 - .7 bar on max boost since I bought it. Nice to drive and wasn't slow. Now hitting 1.1 - 1.2 secondary. Car is a different animal. VOD is virtually non existant.

I still think I need to adjust the ECV which I'll do shortly as I think it's slightly bypassing at about .7 bar.

What is a BBOD?

I assume it has nothing to do with "Bad Bitches on Deck", or "Beach Ball of Death" (thanks Google)

I assume it has something to do with the controlling of the aids?

Indeed. Black Box Of Death = BBOD. Or Black Boys On Dick. Good movie. 😂

Is there anything different with the S401 Brembo's compared to regular STi Brembo's?

They're a 4 pot/2 pot configuration yeah?

No difference. The Gen4 S402 got the 6 pot fronts.

Just a bonus that it comes with the backing plates that I can swap over so its all properly done and oem style with the right handbrake drum. The STi arms and braided lines are a nice bonus too but I already have STi braided lines.

Pretty late to the party but pretty much spent all my classes yesterday and late evening going through this entire thread (yeah - all 91 pages). This build thread is incredible and the attention to detail is astounding. Loved seeing the progression of this GTB. Makes me eager to get into my own car and get to work, particularly all the little tips I've picked up on the way from this thread.

Cheers for documenting such a sick build process Mark. Looking forward for more.
