Chopped down the remaining 2.5 metres of Old diseased Apple tree trunk (was well dead) so needed it burnt as too big for green waste and fork paying money to take it to the tip.

 

I love fire. It is mesmerizing. Spent at least an hour just staring into it

I understand. We get our rainfall faairly evenly spread over the year in the ACT, no real wet or dry seasons. Works for me.

It's so easy to forget (as a city slicker) how much farmers rely on rainfall. Sounds like you are full or close to already?
