They feel like poo. Currently have a V3 STI shifter which is shorter and feels good. The bushes in the linkage looked great, Chucked it in...Side to side movement.

GC8's have a shifter return spring that can sometimes stretch. I suspect that's the culprit. I'll convert to a GD one (No return spring) once I work out what's needed.

Yeah mine Has the spring,

Doesn't return from 5th and reverse

Least it's only a minor issue with your conversion :P
