That washer comes with the kit, also has one of those locking washers on the back.

I didnt use the star washer on the back. Not really required and it sits the mount and strut lower.

Depending on how stiff your struts are, you might find the bracket will twist over time and possibly get caught on the hinge without it?

I think tuning is a crime of passion, or maybe a labour of love. Either way it furiates and excites me.

I fitted mine on Friday night using Mark's photos as a guide.

I had to trim some rubber bits and remove the two that slot into the guard.

They fit and work well!
