I like it, but why 235/45? Arent they outside roadworthy spec for the car or engineered with them?

That's the stock MY11 size.

And a 225 45 looks gross on a 8 :P

Sorry...but youre crazy Gary lol
The rpf1s look the absolute tits on this car.....match it perfectly

Perfect colour match, Lightweight, Good quality and perfect size.

No MY11 wheels for me. I slept on it and no deal.

Agreed. Stretchlyf y0!

Love it either way Cam, clean car is a clean car ;)
Im really impartial on either set, like them both

Anyway, torqued to spec is just the manuals way of saying 'we couldn't get it any tighter, see if you can'.

cs9s

+1

MY02 WRX rims will always be a crowd favourite oem rim.

Of the Enkei's, MY02 WRX, MY10 WRX and CS9 rims, CS9 would be my pick.

I'm a massive fan of Rays CE28's in bronze!

I don't necessarily think that rims need to match car colour. I like to think of rims as a fashion accessory, much the same as a pair of cool sneakers; you could have a different colour/shade to stand out.

I don't feel like my car has to stand out.

If I wanted attention I would buy something that isn't a plain old subaru wagon :P

My goal with both the build and owning this car was to keep it simple. Everything must look like it's a factory car at a quick glance.

Removed the console extension and swapped out the PSE STI knob out for a MY12 WRX knob.

Shifting is much better with my arm in a normal position (You all warned me :P) and the knob feels the goods.

The raised console made it a pain to change gears. Your arm was on a strange angle.

I really the like PSE knob! If I like this wrx knob enough it may come up for sale.

This box is tight as. No need for upgrades. Ask Bosskong or Cracka about how it launches :P

If I was going to upgrade, I would go a 4.44 V6 STI box/diff. Love the longgggg first gear in those.

I actually prefer the feel of the 5spds. I hate how notchy 6spds are. Probably just me :)
