Does anyone have any links and/or records/documentation/diagrams they can post up?

There is an abundance of information on the gen3/B4 system, and as similar as they may appear, they are different and I need vacuum lines specific to the gen2 TT system.
I've followed a couple of B4 diagrams and have got most of the way, but as we all know these TTs are pedantic and picky so I really need to chase down diagrams for the gen2 so it's exact.

All help appreciated!

More for the TT thread  :D

Got anything else that you think would be good for the thread, Zanzarah?

Basically what I need to know, is where does this line go, the one with the bolt in the end.
The B4s do not have it, which is what the above diagrams are of.

It's hose number 1.
Hose number 10 goes into air intake and Ts off into guard.
Hose without a number (has been replaced) goes into BoV.

It seems like someone has reused a number 1 hose. It could possibly go to the primary dump valve - does your vehicle have such a thing?

^Because hose 1 - IACV would usually have a restrictor pill in it to restrict how quickly the IACV opens.

Yea, it has two. That's what the vac line closest to the red hose goes into. Unless a dump valve is different to a blow off valve?

Yeah it seems a dump valve is different from a blow off and different from a wastegate. Looks like this:

Ah okay, the hose I described does go to that. Which leaves this mystery hose still.

That page you linked rob, is for the B4 unfortunately.

That vac line loops back unde the manifold to the purge control solenoid which then leads to the skinny metal line which leads to the charcoal canister. It probably has the bolt in it because someone broke the nipple on purge solenoid. You could just remove the bolt and connect it straight to the metal line under the manifold which would just bypass the solenoid.

Bypassing the solenoid isn't so great - won't you create a vac leak and potential boost leak?

What Acres said makes sense, that nipple on the manifold goes to the purge solenoid on the B4 as well.

There are check valves in the rubber lines at the canister which should stop any boost leaks. I've never had an issue bypassing the solenoid but in saying that I also see no issue with leaving the line as is with the bolt in it. It shouldn't really make a difference in how the engine runs.

He's got no boost what so ever, so it's either a mechanical issue or something has been plumbed very wrong.
