Hey everyone, i have a silver gen3 lib sedan, some of you's may know of it with the WRX022 number plates :P dont give me crap, i know its not a wrx!!

im looking to buy some xd9's, but as most im head :fork: 'd about offsets and all. im also looking at doing brembo upgrade when i do turbo conversion, so has to clear brembos.

so im thinking (from what i can understand) 18x8 with +38, im after a little bit of the dish, but not too much poke. am i on the right track here with this combination?

also thinking about 235/35/18 potanza re002's. does anybody know if im going to have to do too much body work to the car as well?

any help would be great thanks guys

Alex

Hey Jack and everyone else...what do you think about my bent wheel?

It hasnt caused any problems since ive owned the car except for a very slight vibration...I just want to get it looking round again.

Hey mate, Sorry for a late reply. You can get them repaired for around $150+ ea. Not cheap but if you wish to keep these wheels then by all means.

hey bud can you look at my thread!!

Sweet as. What would you rate Federal FD2's?

Nice to meet ya the other night as well. It's always a good thing to put faces to forum names.

Yeah not bad rarely see these tyres. But from what i've heard, nothing bad. Very quiet though.

You to, i was hoping you would look like your avatar. But ohwell.

Of course, mine are 215/45/18. I have been quoted $140 for KU31's as I said, $170 for Pirelli P-Zero Nero's and $190 for Toyo Proxes T1R's. How good are those prices?

I have no need to replace my tyres at the moment now as I will be buying something nice for my wagon in the next couple of weeks. I've managed to strike a pretty good deal to say the least. ;)

Yeah pretty good pricing, but then again its down to what you want. :)

Hey I Hav a silver 05 club spec wrx that I wana get work Meisters for in gun metal grey with polished lip in 18x9 +38
Wat tyres would u recommend and in wat size?

Well if you want the "JDM" look you'll go 225/40/18 - 235/40/18. Or just normal 245/40/18 - 255/40/18 but thats all trial and error kinda thing to see if it scrubs the guards yano. Tyre wise also depends if you want grip or just chew through them due to camber. But Michelin/ Bridgestone/ Pirelli for sticky stuff or Achilles/ Blue streak/ Kenda/ Maxxis and other cheap stuff just to chew through.
