Chris,

You need a new pump. Pointless putting that heap of junk back on.

Get a pump with an impeller that looks like this...

Cast impeller.

The pressed steel impellers like the one you have do not pump as efficiently and cause cavitation when working hard, plus the blades rust reducing pumping efficiency.

This x 100000000. Never put a pressed sheet metal impeller on anything.

Don't hesitate to call me if you have any questions or need any parts haha

So if I install Liberty sedan/wagon bump stops (thank you for the numbers), I will gain some travel? and if I install the Liberty alloy upper arms, I will gain more travel again?

Is the other geometry on the alloy upper arms the same? i.e. no camber change etc.

This car isn't exactly slammed. Not sure if it really validates the need for de-lifting, but I may do.

Chiming in pretty late here but if this conversation is still going, Holden blocks come in Holden & Chev pattern (Trimatic/Turbo). Your Injected 304 motor will definitely be Chev pattern but I'm inclined to think your red 253 would certainly be Holden - which would mean your aftermarket Toyota bellhousing would not bolt up.

I've spent plenty of time around old Holdens and I'd suggest there's nothing wrong with the T5 or the W5x Toyota gearboxes. Worth finding out if it's an alloy cased W58, or could be anything down to a W54 which is significantly different & less tough. Are you going to have an aggressive LSD, tall gears, fat tyres and a need to fry tyres all the time?

Just chiming in to say that I still exist. I've had to move out of my factory which is gay as and has halted progress (couldn't get a Liberty parts car easily like I had planned). But still keen to de-lift, might need some part hook-ups. Parting out a sedan rolling shell may still also be feasible...
