So my '99 outback gearbox needs to be tossed. Input shaft bearings sounds like they're on their last legs.
Plenty of SG9 dual-range foz 'boxes around with the right diff ratio, but they have female outputs rather than stub axles.
Are the two solutions to this.
1/ get some spring-clip stub axles and put them into the SG box. -- which ones are compatible? (eg: https://twenty20raci...-pre-2004-cars)
2/ replace the inner CV's on my existing axles with stubbed ones.
I'm moving towards #2 - as I get can new inner joints less than that conversion kit.
