Good morning all. Just got back from my fitness test. As much as it was the hardest pre-employment fitness test I have done, I passed with flying colours I reckon. Now I've just got to hear back from recruitment to progress.

 

I've got the day off and wanted to clean my car but the dark clouds in the distance worry me.

 

I kept hearing about Abbott and Putin talking with each other and Abbott asking Putin to apologise for the shooting down of the plane on the radio. I'm confused. Is this a peaceful discussion or is Abbott acting all big at the APEC summit (is it)?

The crux of the issue is that Abbott has intel stating the missile was Russian linked.

 

That's why he is going off his dial. He has something. He has to have something. If he doesn't he's got bigger balls than I ever thought he did.

Hmm yeah, thats not how International Diplomacy works. Abbott is taking a direct approach to a bloke who is direct. It's not about whether we are a military threat to Russia or not, that's old school pre WWII thinking, in fact we are a massive financial threat to Russia. Their economy was only entering the international market fully, but now has been crippled by sanctions, and guess what country has gas, uranium and coal to sell to Russia's old customers..... Us. Despite the China Russia deal, we still sell shit China needs and Russia don't have.
