Yeah the typical insufferable crowd have already been going to town - it is one thing to not like Abbott, but these fucktard unthinking fuckstains just bag every single thing he says or does purely because they didn't vote that way and are bitter that they didn't get what they wanted. Bag the things that are actually bad and give credit where credit is due - get sick of these morons who never had an interest in politics until their free ride was over.

Right. Well at least that clears a few things up. Good on him.

As much of a punce as many people think (or know) he is, I feel that he is doing the majority of right things. He just needs to structure his speeches properly and speak better.

He is actually literally as we speak proving he is less of a fairy than the Dutch, Yanks, etc. etc.

How, on any measure, is he a punce?

I just used the word as it was said a few posts prior. Ha ha.

As many of you already know, I'm not into politics so it's good to read this sort of thing without media sway.

It is that same crowd pissing me off who are the constant source of putting Australia down, sure we are no super power but we are also no longer completely insignificant on a world stage like they would stupidly believe.

I seen some comments this morning which were along the lines of "Why would the President of Russia even bother listening to Australia, he must be laughing inside" "What makes Abbott think that a real world leader would care what he says" etc etc... these people live in a fucking fairy tale world and are the ones that are really out of touch with reality.

Gary: When was the last time you listened to a Tony Abbott speech?

I'd follow that man to war.

Teaspoon of Wasabi, 1/2 cup of soy sauce, a dash of Mirin = the only Japanese marinade you need for chicken and fish.

Well not a speech, but an interview. And it would've been on a news program (7, 9 or 10). He isn't fluent when he talks. I feel as if he talks before he thinks and 'um and ahs'.

Having said that, it would've been a while ago. An awesome speaker that I remember was Tony Blair.

What are the requirements to be the world's most powerful person?

Running the biggest economy in the world. Obama.

Money talks.

Bush was one of the most productive presidents America has ever seen and most people thought he was soft in the head because of his speech.

I'm not saying Abbott is a shit prime minister because he can't talk right, but I will admit that the speech you linked me to was spoken very well.

Then read it. Go read Abc news(account for left wing bias), Bbc news and Al Jazeera. Delete commercial radio stations from your radio, boycott 7, 9, and 10 news. Watch Sbs news.

If you really want to work in the Feds, or and Fed Intelligence Agency you first have to educate yourself.

But you just said he doesn't speak well, you criticised the elocution of a Rhodes scholar.

It can't be easy. There are certain words and phrases that he hold on to from his journalism days, and journalists are notoriously cynical. They've put a lot of training into him to make him say upbeat words and positive expressions.

It wasn't all that long ago we had a Prime Minister who went on national television and touted that everyone should call in sick tomorrow, and if the employer doesn't like it, they're a mug!

We laugh and aggrandise that moment. People love that. Oh, our Hawke of the people.

Abbott would never say that for political beliefs, but if a Labor prime minister said that today, it wouldn't be such a jovial shake off. When you look back at the things that our past prime ministers have made international news for, we are looking pretty fuckin good right now.

@Roswell: Rhodes was a terrible racist, so that means Abbott is too, right?

I'm not stupid. Just because I don't go out of my way to read about it and have my head stuck into it doesn't mean I don't know what I have to know. All I asked was what was going on with this Abbott vs Putin thing as I heard it on the radio.

But you just said he doesn't speak well, you criticised the elocution of a Rhodes scholar.

I didn't say he is a shit prime minister because of it. If my opinion is that I find him a little nervous in various speeches and interviews, then that opinion is as good as yours.

Meh, Turnbull is a better example of a Rhodes scholar.

And ROFL Abbott could never write a balanced article, his editor always had to explain that he can't just write right wing propaganda all the time.

I prefer Abbott to Rudd, Rudd always did shit on the international stage to see if the UN were watching 'look at me UN, no hands! Give me a job!'
