Just bought the RS30 interior from Ichiben. Pickup in a fortnight. Pumped.

seats, doorcards and all ?

Yep. Seats, doorcards and a couple other bits. Car had 80,000km. I phone the guys last week and bought it prior to the Saturday sale. They offered a really good price, so I didn't mess around.

I'm still building the exec-spec Gen3. My AT slushbox and (almost) untuneable ECU means I'll never achieve racecar.

Now I just have to fit the whole lot into the back of the Prado...

Finally. Job is on.

Good vacuum then cleaned the lot with AutoGlym leather cleaner then leather balm. Came up a treat. Even better than in the photo. The stain on the driver's seat (dust, soup, just hit VTEC, whatever) disappeared with a cleaning solution of 1/2tsp napisan in 1L warm water. Goneski. Looks mint. Pat, if you're reading, I'm happy with how it all cleaned up so we're good to do business on the RSK bits.

I have a couple of days off work and a bunch of jobs to get through. Putting in a dw65c and replacing the filter (thanks Jim!). Dynamat going on to outer door skins and maybe under the carpet depending on how much is left over. Amp, sub, and speakers arrive Tuesday. First time for a full audio install so fingers crossed for good fun and minimum swearing.

Dang those seats look good! Much excitement.

Best of luck with the filter, perfect time to do the pump, good move! You will be suprised at filthy the one in there will be, along with the sediment that collects in the canister.

Looks good! Can't wait to see them in real life!

Also thinking fuel filter and pump would be a good maintenance item to complete.

Looking good mark, Keep it up!! [emoji1417]

Ok so the seats have a few pressure marks and creases, thanks to ~2yrs of storage with seats stacked on top of each other. I wanted to see if there was a way to remove, or at least minimise these marks.

Youtubed for a bit and one of the better videos was this one:

Here's the back of the driver's seat.

BEFORE. Two pressure marks and three creases.

Attached File  2016-10-29 15.24.21.jpg   240.56KB   11 downloads

AFTER. One pressure mark almost gone. Other one minimised. Two creases just about gone. One stubborn crease still there.

Attached File  2016-10-29 15.44.33.jpg   232.37KB   11 downloads

It's a good improvement and I'm happy with the result. Particularly because of the age of the imperfections makes them very tough to remove completely. The leather soaked up all the conditioning balm I put on yesterday (and looked almost as dry as when I started) so I gave it another balm treatment. That'll soften the leather a bit more so will give the stubborn creases another go tomorrow.

Massive difference even though you couldn't remove them altogether. They're much less noticeable.

I thought so too. I'm figuring that once they're installed (ie. out of direct sunlight and being inspected!) you won't see them unless looking.
