You said your team scored 7 goals, then you state you scored 3 and assisted in 5. 3 + 5 = 8.
What are you on about?

I like to think of it as borrowing someone's car and driving it better than them.

Morning.
Friday! (feels just like yesterday
)
Hit my Y-pipe on the bracket of a collapsible bollard the other night. Took it to an exhaust shop and he said it's a decent hit and would need to be cut out and a piece welded in its place. So I said fork that. He's trying to source me a brand new Y-pipe (Xforce only sell their Y-pipes together with the centre muffler, but he's gonna give 'em a try).
Hopefully someone doesn't mind getting it cut out and welded as I don't even think it's a year old yet.
Surely an exhaust shop can fab up the bit that's busted?
Or do they only do bolt on stuff now? (I swear the auto industry has lost some major skills in the last 10 or so years.
)
Anyone know the going price on Levorg ATM?
How the fork is the service industry supposed to support these cars??????
These things will have no tech support as the dealers will not have received any training plus parts will be an issue for the same reason. What about the warranty? Who pays when the shitbox breaks down?
This may have the effect of making the cheap cars we have even cheaper adding to the disposable vehicle mentality. We will see more cars reach 'end of life' at an earlier age due to the cost of repairs (labour is a factor here due to less tech support) exceeding the financial reason to keep the car.
What about the environmental impact? What happens to these things when they are no longer usable as a vehicle?
I would rather see less models on our roads (we are very spoiled for choice by comparison to other markets) and greater support to the industry.

They can, but I think it might end up costing the same amount as getting a completely new Y-pipe. I'm gonna keep the busted one and see if someone wants to buy it or doesn't mind having a welded bit on there. Doesn't hurt to try.
He is yet to get back to me on whether Xforce are happy to separate a Y-pipe and centre muffler package.

I reckon Subaru won't be far off bring the Levorg to Aus through the dealer network soon anyway, especially considering the changes to import laws yesterday, in which case all the dealer support will come with.
It would be interesting though, to see if Subaru AUS would warrant a personally imported model, vs a locally bought model. I don't think they would, similar to what happened when people started importing GTRs to Aus, before they got sold locally. Heard a few cases where they blew gearboxes, and the $20k replacement wasn't covered under warranty as it wasn't locally purchased.

No idea.
Must mean Josh Little has left then, as he was Subaru sales manager.

Pretty sure they wont support a non local product Shaz.
Many moons ago a good mate bought a 180SX (against my recommendation) and told me Nissan would support it for parts as it was basically the same as the local 200SX. This was before internet parts were available (or very hard to get) so I went down to the local dealer to get an oil pressure switch only to be told that they didn't really want to support it, best they could do was order parts from Japan and there was no garantee anything ordered would fit nor could they be returned.
Glad his wife managed to write it off without getting hurt.
If Levorg comes in through the normal channels, I will seriously consider one.

Going off similar positions you'd be looking at approx six figures, but only just. Thats for an AHG sales manager.
